Dewey (as people who know him like to call him) has over two decades of experience in foundation repair and waterproofing, starting in 2003. Originally from Oregon, he moved to Wisconsin in 2009 to manage the business. At his prior company, he worked in the warranty department which provided him with valuable insights into the most common failures of waterproofing and foundation repairs. Using this knowledge, Michael developed Superior Waterproofing's unique approach to remediation. Recognizing that many basement issues can be related to faulty gutters, he leveraged his construction experience (and the current company gutter lineup) to create a new and comprehensive "whole-home" water management company. Superior Seamless Rain Gutter Company evolved into Superior Waterproofing, expanding from one crew to several, and acquiring a warehouse/office building in Cleveland, WI, under Michael's leadership.

Michael's artistic and writing skills contribute to creating graphics, brochures, and written content for Superior. His multi-faceted role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, performing inspections, estimates, and working with his crews. In his spare time, Dewey enjoys spending time with his daughter and their pets, meditating, hiking, and camping in the woods.
